If you talk to most business people they will tell you that the economy - interest rates, taxation etc is of key importance but if you then ask them how well they understand the economy their eyes will often glaze over.

The full interview with Joe Nellis Professor of International Management Economics at Cranfield School of Management discusses the key economic fundamentals we all need to understand to be successful in business. It lasts 55 minutes (apporx) and can be purchased from Roger's store.

Joe joined the Cranfield School of Management in 1984 and contributes to the full range Professor Joe Nellis Cranfield School of Managementof the School`s postgraduate and post-experience management programmes. In 2005 took up the post of Pro Vice Chancellor of Cranfield University.

Joe has published 18 books and over 200 business and practitioner journal articles. His research encompasses analysis of trends and future developments in the changing world in terms of the role of government and the impact of technology, consumer behaviour, political uncertainty, societal and demographic movements.

Joe is a frequent contributor to a wide range of international conferences and is a consultant to a number of UK and international companies in the areas of strategy and business environmental analysis, strategy formulation and management development.
